Description: We love Sugarcane decaf from Colombia. It’s completely natural, and it’s done in country, in Colombia, making it a really “green” option. The term “Sugarcane” comes from the use of Ethyl Acetate which is a natural byproduct of fermenting sugarcane. This sugarcane derivative binds to the caffeine molecules, so, by soaking green coffee in the ethyl acetate and water a few times, you end up with green coffee that has no trace of caffeine.
We love the flavor profile of Sugarcane Decaf coffees, and this one is no exception. We get notes of Dark Chocolate, Honey, and Malt.
